WEREWOLF TATTOO

Jeff DeSantis was the first to get an official The Werewolf of NYC tattoo on his knee!

How does this page relate to the story? Well, this is the tattoo flash sheet Albert Shaw (werewolf) viewed to get his "Sweet" Tooth tattoo.

If you were a werewolf which would you get? Jeff chose the Puma/Rose. It was a brutal knee tattoo set of hours but it turned out beautiful. Do I hear David Bowie's 'Cat People' in the background?

WEREWOLF FOOD

Getting into the mindset and writing role for The Werewolf of NYC - I aimed to gain 20 pounds of fat.  By accident I gained 35 pounds and almost put myself at risk with being diagnosed with diabetes.  The goal was to gain an insight to writing a character with a negative self image and bleak outlook on life.  The ideas which roamed in my head were extremely unhealthy.  I kept to myself and surprisingly I've heard that I was more pleasant to be around.

My diet consisted of at least a milkshake a day, Jamba Juice, ice cream, cookies, pancakes and fast food.

I'm gearing up to begin issue number 2 of The Werewolf of NYC continuing this kind of role writing. But not with the same diet or outlook.  Wish me luck.

RARE BOOK

Now a look at the extremely rare and out of print hand silkscreened, hand bound books I created for The Werewolf of NYC.  Only a limited amount were created and are all gone.  I created this book when developing the story and figuring out the style.

This book has design elements when the werewolf wore a suit, set in World War 1 and alien invader characters reminiscent of Mars Attacks / Invasion of the Saucer Men.  This is an extremely rare accordion fold out book.  SOLD OUT!

T-Shirts are still available in RED only for a few more hours in my Kickstarter campaign ending Nov. 21, 2012 at 11:59 a.m.  Tshirts will be hand printed using the same silkscreen technique by hand by me.  Only 100 are being made... only a few remain and will not be sold after the Kickstarter.

NYC UPDATE: AFTER SANDY

It has been a very troubling week here in NYC.  I was fortunate enough to have not received the full impact of Hurricane Sandy.  Even though I live right beside an evacuation zone, me and my loved ones sat it out in our building.  Our immediate home was saved by resting on a hill here in Hell's Kitchen.  We could only watch the news as the destruction devastated the lower east side and communication with family ceased on Long Island. Thankfully all are well slowly getting electricity and communication back online.  Our hearts go out to all during this time.

The picture above is the crane destroyed and still hanging outside near my building on 57th street.  Thank you all who reached out to see if I and my family are doing well.
